Antibodies (2025)
“Antibodies“ transmits the raw honesty and reality of pain. Two dancers share their unfiltered relationship with pain - sometimes isolated in suffering, sometimes finding care and acceptance in each other. Inspired by chronic pain in the dancer's lower back and foot, Constantin Trommlitz transforms the limitation of pain into a motor for self-expression and virtuosity.
The duet merges elements of Breaking and Contemporary dance into an innovative movement language that emphasizes the sensitive relationship between the dancers and their own stories of pain.

It’s About Time (2026)
A strange humanoid is born into an empty space. In her arms she holds the severed head of a bird, a vulture.
At first, it cannot survive without her. The humanoid feeds it breath, movement, and attention to keep it alive. But as her care grows, the creature’s eyes begin to look back. Premonitions from the past begin to transform the new world around them, and soon they cannot outrun their fate.
It’s About Time combines physical theater, puppetry, projection and live sound to offer a glimpse into a near future, where the fundamental binaries of life on Earth have dissolved. Human vs. machine, human vs. animal, and Self vs. Other – everything must be re-created in this world.
This piece is both tender and grotesque, and explores questions of identity, vulnerability, and transformation.

UNWRITTEN (2027)
In Unwritten, Grootens’ next production at Korzo Theater, The Hague, dancers Justin Brown and Matheus Moreira move through a landscape of often unwritten rules. What plays out invisibly in that one, seemingly simple moment when two bodies meet? What expectations, codes, and tensions simmer beneath the surface?
For this work Grootens will work with a team with whom she has a longstanding relationship, such as the dancers Justin Brown and Matheus Moreira and the composer Michael Lampe. Dramaturg Marc Maris will be working closely with Grootens and the costume design by Eddy van der Laan, Atelier Clement.
For Unwritten, a residency was carried out in collaboration with SHIFFT, within the framework of iCoDaCo (co-founded by the European Union). This also resulted in an open studio presentation, for which Jesse Bom made this video
AQUÍ NADA MÁS (2025)
Four people in a waiting state. An easy task it seems. But while the time passes, bodies get restless, priorities shift, minds go running and relationships get tense. The only task is to be here. How hard can it be?

Tender Resistance (2024)
Two dancers engage in an intense physical conversation: their bodies seek each other out, graze against one another and sometimes come to outright collision. Through all these movements, a fierce yet fragile duet emerges, one in which you can feel how how complicated it is to remain vulnerable in a world full of conflict and harshness. Faizah drew inspiration for this piece from the sensitivity and temperament of Papiamentu and from the words of American actress Viola Davis.
The duet is performed by Amber Veltman and Evelien Jansen. Evelien was nominated for her role in this duet for the VSCD Dance Prize ‘Zwaan – Most Impressive Dance Performance 2025’.
With fluid movement and raw honesty, the dancers in Tender Resistance show how difficult and how necessary it is to remain open to one another. The performance features text in Papiamentu. A Dutch and English translation is available as a handout.

While you’re here - Tanten bo t’aki (2022)
Tanten bo t’aki is Papiamentu for “while you’re here”. With this playful and intimate duet choreographer Faizah Grootens creates a bodily research of the constant moving spine and the relation between synchronicity and individuality. Two people share a personal space, their connection is undeniable. But what exists when they’re together and who are they individually? In a constant motion the two dancers wave through the performance. But in the end they’re not by themselves, you are there as well.

Our Arms Grew Together / Meander /
Meander (2024)
In Meander five circus and dance artists weave a visual landscape. They slide and climb over and under each other, soar into the heights or intertwine into one body. Like a new river finding its course, or like a flock of birds migrating as one body, this is how Meander was created. In this continuum of movement and rhythm, the performers highlight their mutual trust despite the frictions and fractures between each other.
Meander is an ode to the process, to our constantly changing view of how we experience each other and our surroundings. By breaking free from traditional lines of hierarchy and positions of power, the five performers create a space where every moment can bring a new discovery, a new question, or a new insight.
After numerous crossovers, partner acrobats Knot on Hands, Felix Zech and Marta & Kim join forces in the performance Meander. Together they won the BNG Bank dance and circus award three times, were selected for Aerowaves, CircusNext, were nominated for the Prijs van de Nederlandse Dansdagen and performed their own work more than 350 times at home and abroad. Under the wings of production houses TENT and Dansateliers, they realize their dream of making a production together with Meander.

Our Arms Grew Together is a live self-portrait of the love relationship between the couple Marta & Kim. In a world that celebrates independence, they choose deliberately for interdependency.
Marta & Kim are in search of physical metaphors for their relationship. This unfolds in an intimate, honest, almost documentary universe of what normally stays behind closed doors: the sensuality and vulnerability of becoming one body with two people. At the same time, it shows the discomfort of it: literally not being able to walk away from each other and letting go of control and personal agenda.
If ‘trusting you with my life’ is not only a metaphor, but a physical reality, then everything that is at stake becomes tangible. Do we dare to lose ourselves in a joint identity and depend on each other?

As part of the Korzo/NDT format Here We Live and Now, Dalton created a trio that was loosely based on the Belgian movie Le Paradis (Zeno Graton) in which two young men explore an intimate relationship in a juvenile reform center, a place governed by the prohibition of physical contact. In this cinematographic dance work three dancers switch between tenderness and rough masculinity as a blue whirlwind.

My Life in Excel (2023)
Due to a legal dispute over the care of her two children, a mother is forced to keep track of her life in an Excel sheet for two years. A reality in boxes; true, but at the same time far removed from the life she experienced. How does this cold data relate to the emotional, mental and physical memories of that time? Choreographer Liat Waysbort is back on stage again herself, reflecting on this personal period of her life through dance and text. Memories from that time - frustration, disbelief, broken dreams, but also strength, fighting spirit and feelings of absurdity - become tangible. Big data specialist Dana Ganot joins her on stage and professionally dissects the relationship between data and our daily existence.
